Our Booth @ Renegade Craft Fair

Thank you Renegade for making this, once again, a great show with old and new friends filling our booth!!
The striped letters for our sign were hand cut and sewn by yours truly since we forgot our large vinyl signage. Too cute with it's ruffled necktie edge. We also used our signature vintage lace walls, this time only installing one with the impending rain forecast.

beaded fringe Katherines dusted one of our flat file displays adding a bit of dazzle.

Caught sitting down on the job! I do believe I was hiding with a sandwich;)

Everyone went bananas for our headbuds and brooches, the perfect treat to top gift wrap, tuck in a stocking for the holidays, or for yourself!
We brought a few new obi designs, playing with contrast colors and ribbon.

New Renegade Friends

We had a great time at the Brooklyn Renegade Craft Fair  this year!
Our booth was next door to two super talented couples doing awesome stuff.

First off we had  David Denosowicz and Maggie Doyle of Loyalty and Blooddesigning and silkscreening t-shirts, tote bags and making super cute chunky geometric jewels. Their studio is located in Brooklyn so it was fun picking their brain on good spots to grab dinner and chatting about life as a indie crafter.

We also met Renegade first timers from Delaware, GL/CK The 50/50 Company, Jennifer and Matt Glick. With our chairs situated next to one another we braved the rain, swapped stories, and snacks. Their work is edgy, with gorgeously detailed illustrations/prints that remind me of vintage sailor tattoos and tattoo/surfer art.

Tune in for more about our time at the 2011 fair and pictures.

ROAD TRIP!

Okay,

The truck is packed and we are off to Brooklyn for our third Renegade, YAY! We have decided to bring the sun with us so rain clouds, put up your dukes cuz we are putting up a fight! That being said, even with the showers cooling off the warm afternoon,  stroll at your hearts content with your cute umbrella in hand and pop in tents full of treasures.
