Save The Last Dance For Me

Inspiration, my Gram's dance cards form the late 20's.

I am a very lucky girl to have a grandmother who lived her dancing days in the 20's. Besides the frocks that were handmade, gloves, jewels, hats, handbags, and of course the shoes, dress-up was an extraordinary affair for me. Kay Schneider lives a life surrounded by things that were made to last forever and her craft, a kaleidoscope of quilts, pillows, and sweaters (excluding the edibles) are some of my favorite things in the world. I aspire to keep Lilian Asterfield a hand tailored good, keeping in the tradition of "lifetime-products" rather than "throw away-fashion". It just wouldn't be living up to Gram's standards,  and I am inspired by her crafty beauty every day!
